Beginning: Above the Arctic Circle

Blogarific! I’m on a plane, somewhere above the Arctic Circle, between New York and Seoul, heading so far west it’s East. I look outside and down, wondering what is this planet I’m flying over, of clear white ice and creamy jags set into a crackled no-man’s land. I think about the polar bears. The sun is blinding and I pull down the shade.

As an artist, I have times that are well-spent in hiding, and times that call for being at ease with active communication. In this case, blogging. With my first tour of Asia coming up and very little time to keep in touch with friends or keep a running journal of my life, I thought, Why not blog? This way, everybody can join me in the adventure. After all, I love my life, and blogging is a great way to let everybody know what’s on tap for Tora Brava! Yeah, maybe I got some things coming up that people should know about…and that people shouldn’t know about?? *laughs*
