Big fish
A beautiful rainy evening out and about after a fiery bowl of red-hot ramen in Roppongi. On my way to pick up new boxing gear for my upcoming show when I was greeted by the Really Big Fish.

The fish was magnificent and huge. Beautiful and wise. Made me feel happy, touched by something dada-esque and ancient.
I saw the little shark swimming in there too. Its face was really the most shark I’ve ever seen up so close. I wondered how it would taste, but it was so cute, I didn’t want to eat it. And I knew if I went diving with it, it wouldn’t try to eat me either. In that moment I knew that all the things I’ve heard about the danger of sharks attacking and biting humans were false. Not to underestimate their innate power in any way, but I felt sorry that I was ever so terrified of sharks. What a big misunderstanding. Where there is fear, there is misunderstanding or bravery. I hope I will always opt for the latter. Like what Public Enemy said, don’t believe the hype.
