Long flights are a great way to catch up on movie-watching that I’ve been meaning to see but kept forgetting to place on the ol’ Netflix queue. I actually liked Gone With the Wind, realized I’d seen it when I was a wee tot, and the first episode of The Tudors made me blush when the flight attendents would unexpectedly show up with a glass of water during the mega-sexy scenes (of which there are plenty). Now that’s timing! But the biggest surprise was Kill Bill, parts 1 & 2. Part Two was my favorite, after all these years being Tarantino-adverse, I stand corrected.
Btw, did anyone see CJ7, the latest Stephen Chow film? I loved that scene with the kid replaying the aerial jump-off the bird-backflip down to earth from Kungfu Hustle.
